The Sunflower is the SKC's official newsletter. It is published monthly and either mailed or e-mailed to club members, depending on individual preference. Past issues are available to download in The Sunflower Archive. Read it now: the current issue of The Sunflower Archive: Click on any past issues you want to see. Submissions: We want to share your good news and photos with the club members. Send announcements (puppy births, show or trial results, etc.) as well as candid photos to the newsletter editor. Also include contact information for follow-up questions.
Advertising: The Sunflower is accepting both classified and box advertising. Classified ads are $5 per issue for a 35- to 40-word ad. Box ads are $15 for a 2-inch by 2-column ad with a border. Deadline: Third Monday of the month for the following month's issue for ads not requiring pre-print approval. Read more. Ready to place an ad, e-mail us.
E-mail subscriptions: SKC members may subscribe for e-mail delivery of the newsletter. This service is provided only to those who request it. Be assured, we will not disclose your e-mail address to anyone else. We will use your e-mail for club-related business only. All e-mail subscriptions also include periodic news alerts. You may unsubscribe at any time (but we hope you don't!). For non-members who wish to subscribe, we will be happy to add your name to our non-member subscriber list. We also would like to invite you to join us at the next meeting - we'd love to meet you! USPS subscriptions: Whether you are currently receiving the newsletter by e-mail or have not been receiving it at all, you can have The Sunflower delivered to your home address. If you are receiving the newsletter by e-mail and you complete this form, you will no longer receive it by e-mail. Also, all printed newsletter issues are in black and white; full-color issues are only available to e-mail subscribers. Color issues can be downloaded from The Sunflower Archive. Please note due to increasing publishing and mailing costs, print issues are mailed to SKC members and pending members only.
